Love Riot 2026

On Friday 28th of August 2026, we threw open the doors to the Deaf Institute once again for our biggest and best Alternative Manchester Pride weekend event: LOVE RIOT.

As Dandy commanded the Music Hall on the top floor with esteemed guest DJs IDB and international Drag Race icon Sum Ting Wong, we were happy to welcome Mx World, known for ruling the decks from Liverpool to Download Festival, to take over the Basement and turn it into their very own moshpit. In addition, Middlesbrough’s wonderful arts and rave collective Out Out transformed the Lodge into a thrilling multi-sensory queer performance and dance space – bolstered by special guest DJs Chipped Polish and RuPaul’s Drag Race UK favourite, Sally TM!

LOVE RIOT 2026 was a powerhouse of Northern LGBTQ+ talent, welcoming guests from literally across the world to enjoy a true Queer Alternative Pride event that has quickly grown to become a staple of the August Bank Holiday.
